Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on citizens to use the Turkish lira instead of the U.S. dollar in transactions.
“Leave the dollar and the rest. Let’s turn to our money, the Turkish lira. The Turkish lira doesn’t lose value anymore. Let’s show our patriotism like this,” the Turkish leader told members of his AK Party in parliament.
According to Erdogan, those who trust in and invest in our country will continue to win, Anadolu Agency reported.
