Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed his intention to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the situation in Idlib on March 5.
Erdogan recalled that the day before he had telephone conversations with the above-mentioned leaders. The parties discussed the Syrian problem.
“I held telephone conversations with Putin, Macron and Merkel on Idlib. We will meet on March 5 (in Istanbul) and discuss this topic again,” RIA Novosti quotes Erdogan as saying.
