According to the office of the Turkish President, on Thursday, July 18, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and former US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation.
"During the conversation, the assassination attempt on Trump and the events that occurred after it were discussed. President Erdoğan condemned the assassination attempt on Donald Trump once again and expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery",
the office of the Turkish President said.
Let us remind you that the assassination attempt on Trump occurred last Saturday during the rally in Pennsylvania. The gunman fired in the direction of the stage, as a result of which the ex-President received an ear injury and one person from the audience died.
