Erdogan: in losing a friend like Turkey, Russia will lose a lot

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said an attack on Turkey would be regarded as an attack on NATO.

Erdogan stressed at a conference in Brussels that the violation of Turkish airspace by Russian military aircraft may worsen relations between Moscow and Ankara. "If Russia loses a friend like Turkey, it will lose a lot," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
