Turkish and US Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Joe Biden may hold talks on the sidelines of the upcoming UN General Assembly in September, the Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah reports, citing its sources.
"Negotiations on Turkey's purchase of the F-16 from the US have been going on for some time. This issue will be on the table during a possible meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Biden during the UN summit in New York next month," the statement reads.
