Turkey has named a retired brigadier general Adnan Tanriverdi the new adviser for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, CNN Turk reports.
Tanriverdi became a brigadier general in Turkish Armed Forces in 1992 and resigned in 1999.
He is also founder of the SADAT AS International Defense Consulting, Trend reports.
