Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the Turkish Stream pipeline as strategically important for the country project, addressing the ruling Justice and Development Party.
"The Turkish Stream is the strategically important for our country project. Next year, natural gas will be supplied with the use of this line," RIA Novosti cited the Turkish leader as saying.
Yesterday, Gazprom completed the construction of the offshore section of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took part in the ceremony via a video conference.
