Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has conducted a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Kazakh president's press service said in a statement.
"The Turkish president expressed his intention to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan and to attend the coming science and technology summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Astana in September of this year," the statement said.
During the conversation, the Presidents discussed prospects of bilateral relations and exchange opinions on a number of topical global matters.
