Erdogan wants to discuss with Putin results of Lviv talks

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the results of his today's negotiations with the UN secretary-general and Ukraine's president in Lviv will be discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Turkey will continue to assess the results of today's talks together with Russian President Putin and the Russian side," Erdogan was quoted by the Anadolu news agency as saying during a joint press conference with Antonio Guterres and Volodymyr Zelensky.

The aim of the three-way talks in Lviv was to settle the situation around Ukraine, he said.

Since August 1, some 626,000 tonnes of grain have been delivered from Ukraine to world markets by 25 ships, the president said. He also expressed concern over the situation around the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant.
