Erdogan: we do not want to exaggerate Su-24 incident

Ankara is not attempting to exaggerate the incident with the downing of the Russian Su-24 plane, the Turkish authorities will only protect the security of their country, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during an Islamic economic congress in Istanbul.

"Turkey has always been for peace, dialogue, diplomatic settlement, and after this we will continue doing the same. But don’t anyone expect that we will remain deaf and blind to violations of our space, our borders, or our sovereignty," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
