Russia won't be suspended from the Eurovision-2018 song contest, despite the fact that it refused to broadcast the contest this year, director general of "Channel One" Konstantin Ernst said.
According to him, this rule really exist, "but since we won't participate and violate the rules of the European Broadcasting Union, it does not apply to us," he said.
He drew attention to the fact that the rules were primarily violated by the European Broadcasting Union: it either shouldn't have register Russian participant Yuliya Samoilova, or ensure her arrival in Kiev.
