Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will launch flights to Baku starting from March, the head of the Association of Tourism of Azerbaijan (AzTa), Nahid Bagirov, said.
"Etihad Airways is a company which is in Top 3 of leaders among the world's airlines and its activity in Azerbaijan will cause an increase in the tourist flos from Arab countries in the segment of 'above average'," abc.az cited him as saying.
Bagirov added that Etihad Airways will also ensure the flow of Arab tourists from countries, which are unable to use the services of another airline Qatar Airways in connection with certain problems in the Arab countries.
