The ruble fell against the dollar and the euro on the Moscow exchange, according to the Russian Central Bank.
The dollar exchange rate increased by 0.62% and was worth 63.88 rubles, the euro rose 0.6% and was worth 74.1 rubles.
The cost of the October futures of Brent crude oil rose by 0.12% to $74.74 per barrel.
