Spot gas prices in Europe plunge due to record gas balances in underground storage facilities and under pressure from growing supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and reached Russia's domestic sales level.
Gas prices fall below $80 per thousand cubic meters, according to spot data. Thus, the gas price at the National Balancing Point (NBP) trading platform dropped to $77.7 per thousand cubic meters on March 30.
The leading European trading platform, the Title Transfer Facility (TTF), traded thousand cubic meters for $79.97.
