European Commissioner for Competition Margaret Vestager has posted on Twitter a report according to which the European Commission (EC) recommends the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of Turkey if Ankara immediately fulfill all the stipulated conditions.
The EC proposes to the EU Council and the European Parliament to remove visa requirements for Turkish citizens, taking into account the fact that the Turkish authorities will urgently fulfill the remaining conditions for the visa liberalization plan, the report says, Gazeta.ru reports.
