President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has awarded the President of the European Olympic Committee, Patrick Hickey, with Sharaf Order on the occasion of his 70th birthday, Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports, Azad Rahimov, said.
“The European Games are taking place with Patrick Hickey's support. Thanks to him, Europe is living these exciting moments,” Interfax-Azerbaijan cited the minister as saying.
