The European Parliament will vote for visa liberalization for Georgia to the EU's Schengen zone on February 2 in Strasbourg, the Georgian Foreign Ministry posted on its Facebook page.
After the European Parliament's vote the regulation should be approved by the European Council at the ministerial level. Changes to the law published in the Official Journal of the European Union after it will be signed by the President of the European Parliament and the President of the European Council's representative (the Netherlands).
