The European Parliament sees no reasons to ease economic sanctions against Russia, as the country has failed to fulfill certain requirements for this.
Chairman of the European Parliament's Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee Andrej Plenkovic said this following a two-day sitting of the committee in Brussels, Ukrinform reports.
“We’ve clearly stated about our views that the requirements of any easing of restrictive measures against Russia have not been fulfilled,” the MEP said.
