European countries want to return to Iran as soon as possible and the presence of numerous foreign delegations in the Islamic Republic indicates the beginning of a new phase in international cooperation, Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Hossein Amir Zamani stated.
He noted that after the signing of the nuclear agreement between Iran and six international negotiators, three European delegations have visited Tehran, and each of those delegations held very serious and substantive talks with the Iranian side. Members of these delegations, representing Germany, France and Italy, were in favor of a speedy return to Iran after the lifting of sanctions, Iran.ru reports.
During the negotiations with these three European delegations, the need to transfer modern technologies to Iran and joint investment in Iranian projects were emphasized. According Zamani, the investment cooperation of European companies with the Iranian private sector in the production of various equipment and technicnologies, will be aimed not only at increasing the European presence on the Iranian market. Joint production must ultimately gain access to the markets of the region, and Iran, thereby, considering the potential it has, will play an important role in enhancing regional cooperation.
