The head of the upper chamber of the parliament of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, asked the President of the country, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to grant him a vacation, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) informs.
"As you know, I have been working in a leadership position for 40 years, and I have been involved in politics for 25 years. Due to the large amount of work during this time, I could not fully rest," the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) quotes Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as saying.
The former head of state stressed that he wants to go on vacation from April 1. According to him, during his vacation, he plans to finish work on new books and prepare for a number of international events.
