At a briefing today, the deputy head of the security service of the Russian aircraft and space forces, Lieutenant-General Sergey Baynetov, stated that it is not possible to read information from the recorder chips of the Russian Su-24 downed by the Turkish Russian Air Force, as it has some damage.
He stressed that specialists who can work with crystals chips will be involved. At the same time, the Lieutenant-General drew attention to the fact that the opening process of the recorders was attended by observers from China, the UK and the US, who made no comment, Interfax reports.
