F1 First Practice Session in Baku wraps up

Lewis Hamilton from the Mercedes team set the fastest lap (1:46.435) in Formula 1 First Practice Session held in Baku June 17, Trend reports.

Nico Rosberg from Mercedes became second (1:46.812), followed by Valtteri Bottas from Williams (1:47.096).

Azerbaijan is hosting the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe for the first time June 17 – June 19. The Baku circuit, which is slightly over 6 kilometers, will have the racers to go 51 laps. Overall, 11 teams, each with two drivers, will compete in the race.
