FIG World Cup Final winners awarded

A ceremony to award the winners of the all-around individual and group competitions of the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics was held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku July 23.

Vice-president of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) Altay Hasanov, Vice-president of the Technical Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Noha Abou Shabana, FIG Secretary General André Gueisbuhler, international category rhythmic gymnastics judge Natalya Bulanova, Azerbaijani MP Fuad Muradov, FIG technical delegate Daniela Delle Chiaie and the National Gymnastics Arena’s Director Magsud Farzullayev attended the ceremony.

AGF’s special prize – the AGF Trophy – was also awarded for the best performance and the highest score.

Among the gymnasts participating in individual competitions, Russian athlete Yana Kudryavtseva was awarded this prize. Among the group teams, this prize went to the Russian national team.

Moreover, FIG cups were awarded on four best results at nine stages of the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Among the gymnasts participating in individual competitions, Russian athlete Margarita Mamun was awarded the FIG cup.

Among the group teams, the FIG cup went to the Russian national team.

André Gueisbuhler and Mariana Vasileva, head coach of Azerbaijani national team, presented the awards.
