The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has prevented series of terrorist attacks in Moscow planned by the ISIS terrorists group.
"The activity of a terrorist cell consisting of citizens of Tajikistan and a citizen of Moldova, who planned to commit a series of resonant terrorist attacks in Moscow using improvised explosive devices of high capacity, has been terminated," Sputnik cited the statement as saying.
Four members of the terrorist group have been detained on Thursday.
Improvised explosive devices, firearms and a "significant amount of explosive material to develop explosives of high capacity" have been found and seized from the suspected terrorists.
