In Makhachkala, the activity of group of persons who unlawfully received monthly payments was stopped, the prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of the city reported.
The suspects provided fake documents to employees of the Pension Fund, according to which they allegedly have the status of veterans of war, which allowed the fraudsters to receive corresponding allowances for three years - from 2013 to 2015.
"Currently, we gave the materials on these facts to the investigating authorities. Criminal case on fraud and document forgery were initiated," - RIA Dagestan quotes the representative of the prosecutor's office.
