Family of suspect in St Petersburg metro blast questioned in Osh

Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security questioned the family of the main suspect in Monday’s bomb attack on the St Petersburg metro - Akbarjon Jalilov.

Jalilov's mother, father and brother were questioned by Kyrgyz security officers in the city of Osh, Interfax reported.

Earlier, a spokesman for Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security (UKMK) said that a Kyrgyz-born Russian citizen named Akbarjon Jalilov was the main suspect.

UKMK spokesman Rakhat Sulaimanov said the suspect was born in the southern Kyrgyz region of Osh in 1995.
