Famous Azerbaijani writer receives 'Golden Delvig'

The well-known Azerbaijani writer Kamal Abdulla was awarded the prestigious Russian prize 'Golden Delvig' for his book of short stories titled 'Plato Seems to be Ill'.

This is the second international award of the writer, his novel 'Unfinished Manuscript' won a Scanno Award in 2015, Interfax-Azerbaijan reminds.

Kamal Abdulla is an Azerbaijani writer, playwright, scholar, public figure and statesman, Honored Worker of Science (1999), academician of ANAS (2014), the State Adviser to the President of Azerbaijan on ethnic, multi-cultural and inter-religious issues and the former rector of Baku Slavic University.
