Feed-milling enterprises were put into operation in the Balaken and Zagatala districts of Azerbaijan, according to the Agency for Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of Azerbaijan (KOBIA), operating under the country's Ministry of Economy.
The plants were built within the framework of the Socio-Economic Development Activity in Azerbaijan (SEDA) project, implemented jointly by the Azerbaijani government and the U.S. Agency for International Development, abc.az reported.
A production site and a warehouse have been constructed at the feed processing enterprises.
A feed processing plant in Tasmali village of Azerbaijan's Gakh district will be transferred to local residents today, the agency added.
