Russian fencer Yana Alborova who won silver today said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza that she wanted a rematch with Italy's Alice Volpi. The Russian fencer believes that her mistake was in early attacks and aggressive stance. By the time her coach corrected her tactic, it was too late.
Alborova reminded that she had had competed with Volpi at the European championship (under 23 years), losing to the Italian fencer. Alborova vows to rectify her mistakes.
