Undersecretary of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Feridun Sinirlioglu was appointed the country's permanent representative to the United Nations.
Sinirlioglu worked in the Middle East Affairs Department of the Foreign Ministry in 2000-2002. He also served as Turkey’s ambassador to Israel in 2002-2007, and has been the undersecretary to the Foreign Ministry since 2009, Trend reports.
