The authorities of the Crimean city of Sevastopol plan to restore the cargo-passenger ferry service with Turkey in October 2015. The presence of a ferry will establish regular sea tourist travel between the two countries, the governor of Sevastopol Sergey Menyailo stated today.
"Negotiations on the ferry connection are underway. Representatives of the Turkish side are ready to put ferries with consumer goods on the line as well as transport trucks. If all goes well, then the first ferry from Turkey will arrive in October. So far, most likely, those will be cargo-passenger ferries," Interfax quotes the governor as saying.
