Final day of III CIS Games: rhythmic gymnastics finals

Today marks the concluding day of the III CIS Games in Azerbaijan, with the final sporting competitions taking place. The city of Sheki will host the rhythmic gymnastics events.

The last medalists of the III CIS Games will be determined today in Azerbaijan.

In Sheki, the rhythmic gymnastics finals will begin at noon. Medals will be awarded in the individual hoop and ball competitions. This will be followed by the group event featuring five hoops. The program continues with individual performances using clubs and ribbon. The final event of the CIS Games sports program on October 8th will be the group final with five pairs of clubs.

In the current medal standings, Russia leads with 124 gold, 61 silver, and 40 bronze medals. Azerbaijan holds second place with 33 gold, 53 silver, and 92 bronze medals, followed by Belarus in third with 32 gold, 35 silver, and 52 bronze medals. Athletes from 13 countries are participating in the tournament.

The official closing ceremony of the III CIS Games will be held this evening at the Ganja City Stadium.
