 Finalists determined in World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling in Baku

The finalists in the individual men's program among the gymnasts on trampoline in the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling in Baku were determined. A Russian gymnast and Rio’s silver medalist, Dmitry Ushakov, qualified to the finals with the first place by getting 112.99 points in the sum of the two exercises.

Olympic champion Vladislav Goncharov from Belarus is on the second place with 112.055 points. Russian Mikhail Melnik is third with 111.285 points.

Azerbaijani gymnast Ilya Grishunin also reached the finals with 110.715 points.

Aleh Rabtsau (Belarus, 111.035 points), Diogo Abreu (Portugal, 110.325 points), Pirmammad Aliyev (Kazakhstan, 109.715 points) and Masaki Ito (Japan, 109.675 points) also qualified to the finals.

Earlier, on the first day of the World Cup in Baku the finalists of the women's individual trampoline program, male and female finals for tumbling were determined. A qualification in synchronous male and female jumping on a trampoline is ahead.

The first World Cup in Trampoline and Tumbling of the new Olympic cycle takes place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 18-19. The competition is attended by 85 gymnasts from 15 countries. Their performances are evaluated under the new rules, which came into force in 2017. The qualifications are held on Febraury 18th, the finals will be held on February 19th.
