In the Simferopol region of Crimea, EMERCOM employees extinguished a forest fire on the area of more than 50 hectares, the head of the department, Sergei Shakhov, said.
He specified that more than 500 people and 80 vehicles were deployed for the elimination of the fire, including the republican fire brigades, Krym-Spas, employees of the Crimean EMERCOM Main Directorate, foresters and representatives of the Russian Guard and the Black Sea Fleet, RIA Novosti reports.
