Fire in Yerevan’s garbage dump being put out

The Armenian emergency ministry’s rescuers resumed fighting fire in a garbage dump in Hakhtanak area of Yerevan, the press office of the emergency ministry said.

Ten firefighter crews, 48 rescuers and ten water carriers are on the scene, ARKA reported.

Additional information will be released later. 

The fire broke out there on July 24. The flame swallowed 2,000 square meters of garbage but was tackled by 17:30.
