First Deputy Energy Minister of Kazakhstan resigns

Uzakbai Karabalin has been relieved of his duties as the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan in connection with reaching retirement age.

A corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov.

Karabalin has held this position since August 2014. For several years he headed the Ministry of Oil and Gas, national oil and gas company 'KazMunaiGaz', and the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas, Trend reminds.
