The first Development Center of high technology and innovation (technology park) has been opened in the Tbilisi suburb of Oqrokana. The opening ceremony was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the press service of the Georgian Prime Minister reports.
$5 million laris ($2.1 million) were invested in the construction of the first technopark, which began to be constructed in January 2015.
"It's a 5-million-lari project that was implemented in one year. This is a direct investment in the future of Georgia," Kvirikashvili said at the opening ceremony, Sputnik Georgia reports.
