A young man has died after being hit by a car Saturday, on a new highway in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, News.am reported.
At around 6։10am, a vehicle hit a jaywalker on the newly built Ashtarak Highway.
According to shamshyan.com, the driver tried to help this pedestrian, but he died on the spot.
Police have found out that this person who died was Yerevan resident Edgar Samvelyan, 30.
The source reported that this was the first fatal traffic accident on this new highway.
