Today the first president of the Republic of Dagestan Muhu Aliev is celebrating his 75th birthday. Under his leadership considerable work was done in order to preserve the unity and integrity of Dagestan as part of the Russian Federation.
According to the decree of the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, Muhu Aliev was awarded the Order For Love of his Homeland for services to the Republic and many years of political activity
The main priority of his activities in his new post was issues of socio-economic development. The material bases of education, health and the cultural sphere significantly improved. Youth policy received a new impetus.
Within a short period more than 50 schools, 75 health facilities and a Heart Center were built, as well as the completion of the construction of the Palace of Sports named after Ali Aliyev. Expansion of the gas network to highland areas was also started. 24 settlements received new water pipes. Reconstruction of the Makhachkala Puppet Theatre was completed. The Lezgin Theater in Derbent was completed, as well the creation of the Murad Kazhlaeva Republican School for Gifted Children, and annual international festivals have become a tradition, RIA Dagestan reports.
Muhu Aliyev was congratulated by the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, and the chairman of the government of RD, Abdusamad Hamidov. "You are creative and intelligent. The way you celebrate your birthday is like playing a chess tournament. It means that you remain a creative person. You have a very respected family in Dagestan,’’ Ramadan Abdullatipov said.
