ADY Ekspress, a subsidiary of Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) has announced about sending of the first cargo via international transport corridor Baku-Tbilisi-Kars, abc.az reports.
The Company reports that the first shipment of 82 containers of international project Baku-Tbilisi-Kars has been sent from the station of Kustanay (Kazakhstan) to the station in Mersin (Turkey).
The official opening of the railroad will take place in Baku on 30 October with participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
