Four civilians and one police officer were wounded this morning in a bomb attack on a bus carrying police in the Turkish province of Adana, the governor’s office said in a statement on its website.
"Four civilians and one policeman received light wounds in an explosion that occurred when a bus carrying special police forces was passing," the authorities said, noting that their condition considered as good.
The attack occurred in the area of Yuregir. The explosive device went off when the bus was passing under a pedestrian overpass. The blast also hit several nearby vehicles. The bus was damaged, TASS reported.
