Five residents of Dagestan die of swine flu

Five residents of Dagestan have died from swine flu, the influenza caused by the A virus (H1N1), the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Zarina Agmadova said.

"Five deaths from pneumonia (the H1N1 virus) have been confirmed in the Republic's laboratory. One of them was a child. Four people were residents of Makhachkala, another person died in Izberbash,'' Tass cites Agmadov as saying.
