'Fly Dubai', 'Air France' and 'Lufthansa' no longer fly over Sinai after Russian plane crash

Flydubai airline officially announced today that its planes will no longer fly over the Sinai Peninsula after the crash of the Russian airliner that took the lives of 224 people.

"Flydubai flights will be redirected around Sinai," RIA Novosti quoted a company representative as saying.

Air France, Lufthansa and Emirates Airlines did the same thing. Each company explained that flights will not be cancelled, but their routes will lie outside of Sinai.
