Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan on the sidelines of the 2nd Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.
According to the Anadolu agency, the negotiations lasted about half an hour. The parties discussed ways to normalize relations between Ankara and Yerevan. Cavusoglu called the meeting with the Armenian Foreign Minister "very constructive and productive."
"Steps towards the full normalization of bilateral relations were discussed. I would like to state with satisfaction that we are making efforts for peace in the Caucasus. Azerbaijan also perceives the steps between Turkey and Armenia positively. Baku supports this process. Peace and stability in the region meet the interests of all parties" , he said.
