Minsk is ready to contribute to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The statement was made today at a press conference in Moscow by Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makey.
The Minister pointed out that the Belarusian authorities have always believed that any conflict should be resolved at the negotiating table, not on the battlefield. Above all, it is necessary to ensure the welfare and peaceful life of the people.
According to him, Minsk interacts both with Baku and Yerevan in connection with the aggravation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. "Our position is absolutely clear and transparent: we support the settlement of the conflict in peaceful way,'' Vladimir Mackey said.
