Foreign child beaten to death in Batumi

A 4-year-old child was beaten to death in Batumi, the press service of Georgia's  Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

The tragic case happened on June 13. It is known that the child was beaten by a person familiar with his parents.

The accused person brought the body to the police station himself, News Georgia reported.

According to media reports, neither child, nor the accused are citizens of Georgia.
