Foreign ministers of Georgia, Armenia discuss prospects for cooperation

On Wednesday, heads of the foreign ministries of Georgia and Armenia held talks on current issues of cooperation and its future prospects.

On July 3, a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Armenia, Ilya Darchiashvili and Ararat Mirzoyan took place in Tbilisi. The central topics of the negotiations were the transition of bilateral relations to a new level and prospects for further cooperation.

During the briefing, Darchiashvili noted that interaction between the two countries had reached a qualitatively new level after the signing of a strategic partnership agreement in January of this year.

“The new stage became a turning point in our multilateral cooperation,”

– the Georgian minister said.
