The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Iran have informed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Sebastian Kurtz, that they do not want to increase tensions in relations between Riyadh and Tehran after the execution of the famous Shiite preacher Nimr al-Nimr.
"Both Foreign Ministers assured that no one is interested in further escalation," gazeta.ru quotes a representative of the Foreign Ministry of Austria.
Vienna and Paris previously urged to prevent an escalation of conflict.
