Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Feridun Sinirlioglu on the initiative of the Turkish side the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"During the conversation, the ministers checked their schedules of bilateral contacts and discussed efforts in the political solution to the crisis in Syria," Gazeta.ru cited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying.
