A terrorist attack ahead of this weekend's elections was prevented in Turkey, a security source said.
According to the source, Turkish police detained 14 suspected ISIS terrorists who were preparing an attack in Ankara ahead of this weekend's elections, Anadolu Agency reported.
Counter-terror squad police in the capital swooped on various addresses in simultaneous raids and took the suspects to police headquarters for questioning, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
All the suspects are foreign nationals.
